Blake West is the mysterious owner of Blurred Lines, a tattoo parlor that not only has provided him with a steady income, but has also supplied a steady stream of women into his life. Now, however, things for him are much different.Riley Campbell just ended a relationship with an abusive man who enjoyed controlling her every move. Now free of his grasp, she feels the need for a celebratory tattoo, her first of what she expects to be many. Her expectations of the parlor, the artist, and the process were pretty weak when she walked in.And then she meets Blake West.Covered in tattoos, handsome, mysterious, and muscular, Blake West is not at all what Riley expected to find, but exactly what she feels she needs.

There’s one small problem.

Blake is a sex addict.

And he’s trying to quit.

Blurred Lines is a stand-alone erotic romance and the first book in the Bodies Ink and Steel series. It has an HEA, no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, and no sharing of partners.

My Review

I love Blurred Lines! I read this book in 7 OMG wonderful hours. In truth I wouldn’t have been able to put Blurred Lines down even if I had wanted to.

Now where do I start? This is Blake West & Riley Campbell’s story. And, what a story it was! Blake had a heartbreaking childhood and Riley was in an abusive marriage. There were some unexpected happenings which keeps the story fresh and Scott does a great job with his blurb so I don’t want to go any further. Just know that you need to read this book.

Blurred Lines is the first book in the series, it can be read as a standalone and does have an HEA thankfully!

Scott does give a little history of Tattoos which I very much appreciated. And, he is right once you get 1 tattoo you can’t stop at there. Tattoos are addicting.

There was a not so funny scene in the book but,Scott had me inappropriately laughing out loud. Something to do with bodily fluids. Ew! No I can’t say what but, believe me they deserved it.

Blurred Lines is actually a book that you won’t need to read any warnings before you start to read it. Other than what Scott Hildreth wrote at the bottom of his blurb.

Quote: “Blurred Lines is a Tattoo Romance that is a stand-alone erotic romance and the first book in the Bodies Ink and Steel series. It has an HEA, no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, and no sharing of partners.”

I loved this book and author!
