Not all bikers are outlaws.
Not all dads are heros.

❥❥Tanya’s 5 Star Review
Rag Doll is the first book in A Slight of Man Series. I loved reading this book. I have known this author before she became one and I am totally amazed with her talent! Because this woman is very talented with words and I probably shouldn’t be amazed since I know the beautiful words she puts on paper with her Poems. Brooke Lee really knows how to spin a tale. I have really been able to watch her grow as an author and I hope you give her a chance and check her out. Her book, I am ShelbyJames is an amazing book as well!
I also thought I was tired of MC books to read but, I was wrong. This is the 2nd one this month and I still love reading them!
Rag Doll is Dallas Milburn and Andrea “Andi” Sloan’s story.
Andi’s life starts to change after the death of her father and what she learns turns her life upside down. She asks Dallas to help her because someone is now stalking her. Dallas is a PI and was Andi’s brother Danny’s best friend when they were young and they all grew up together and now finding their way back to each other again. And, man did they find their way back to each other. Those parts were Hot and Steamy.
I wanted to kick Danny in the butt for a while. I love it when a story takes it to where you want to be involved in it.
I can’t wait to read more of Brooke Lee’s books and I loved Rag Doll and I give it 5 Hot and Steamy worthy stars.
❥❥Lita’s 4.5 Star Review
Rag Doll (A Slight of Man Novel)by Brooke Lee. This book is a departure from previous books written by this author. Her last books was F/F and this a MC story. Andrea is attending the funeral of her father. A man who abandoned her,her older brother and her mother when they were young. The head of a MC he chose the club instead of his family. Resenting what her father did to the family she had no tears for him and she definitely didn’t need any condolences. Seeing people from her past has brought secrets and feelings Andrea didn’t want to deal with but she was dragged into it. The author drew me into the story. I loved the cast of characters. A group of alpha men who rode motorcycles and has this reader panting. Dallas really had my mouth watering. I am really looking forward to the next book. I was left with many questions and l look forward to what develops for Andrea and her father’s secrets. A 4.5 star read for me.
❥❥•*¨`*•❥❥BLURB:
“Hey, Kick, thanks for grabbing the grub,” Bob says as Dallas places the tray on the table.
“No prob, Bob. Trina has a full house out there, so I told her I’d bring it back for you guys.” He angles toward me and his lips turn up into an absolutely panty melting grin. “Hey, Andi, hope you’re hungry,” he says in his slow southern drawl.
Hungry? Yeah, but not for the burger he has just delivered. Fuck me! This man is hot with a capital H. “Ah, yeah, um thanks, Dallas.” My eyes don’t quite meet his. He is the kind of hot that makes me almost uncomfortable. I know that if I allow him to look into my eyes he will surely see the naughty images playing in my mind.
In school, teachers always told her “write what you know”, so that is what she did. At the not so tender age of forty-three, she started to write her first novel, I Am ShelbyJames (Beauty in the Darkness) and it is what she knows—emotions.
In her spare time—when she’s not writing—you can find Brooke cuddled on the couch with her husband of 20+ years, their fur babies, and a good (often naughty) eBook—unless of course she’s having cocktails with her Bestie at one of their favorite haunts.
Growing up, Brooke’s mother instilled a deep respect for the English language and a love of words. She taught Brooke to read and write and shared her appreciation for poetry. As a teen, poetry became an outlet for Brooke’s innermost thoughts and deepest, often times darkest feelings.
