Take is the 5th book in the Deliver Series. You must read the other 4 before you get to this book.

I knew that Take was going to be great! After-all I had 4 previous 5 Star books to go by of my own.

If you love dark reads then the Deliver Series is a MUST read! Take is another book that kept me on the edge the whole time I was reading it.

Kate is taken/captured by Tiago Badell and all she was told was that something was taken away from him so that is why she was taken. Hence the name of the book “Take”.

Once, Kate is taken back her friends kept telling her she had Stockholm syndrome and even she had used that phrase on Tiago. But, she really knew that wasn’t the case. She just loved him and told them all that they were wrong.

So, I did say that this is a dark book and all that usually entails with a dark book is in this one. So, if you have any triggers proceed carefully.

I loved reading Take. I now can’t wait for Manipulate to come out. Pam Godwin said that it would be June. So not as a long of a wait as for this book.

Take (Deliver#5) by Pam Godwin Kate unlike her fellow freed captives has had a hard time adjusting to life after her sexual conditioning at the hands of Van. Now she finds herself kidnapped again but this time by the infamous crime lord Tiago Badell. We already know how sadistic and cruel he can be from reading Devastate. Tied up in rags and alone Kate knows she is in big trouble but she refuses to go down without a fight. This story was more than I could have every expected. For me this book is the best one out of the four previous books. I have read many of this author’s books and really enjoy how she tells a story especially when it is dark and twisted. This story lived up to it and more with some twist and turns in the story I didn’t see coming. For a very bad villain I absolutely fell in love with Tiago and can see how Kate was able to fall for him. A really good story that left me truly satisfied and ticked all my boxes. 5 stars for me. I would love a book about the next chapter in their life.
