Tortured Eyes by Charlotte E. Hart

Tortured Eyes is the 5th and last book in the Cane Series. It all began with Quinn Cane in Innocent Eyes. So each of these books can be read as a standalone but I suggest going back to the beginning so you will know all these stories!

Bravo, Bravo to these two authors!!! You have never let this series get dull! I read Tortured Eyes in one go. There are some surprises and some emotional parts that had me tearing up.

This is Logan Cane and Bryce McCarthy’s story. Logan is Quinn Cane’s youngest son. I so, badly want to say a lot in this review but I won’t but man I really want to say that I was so surprised. But enough said.

There are also some triggers here so be careful when selecting this book. There are some wow moments that I did not see coming. There’s some bang bang shoot ‘em up scenes. This book has it all!

I don’t want Tortured Eyes to be the last book. I really want more!!! This was such a good book!!! It does look like there will be a spin off coming for which I am so thankful for. These two authors need to continue to write together because their book is off the charts GOOD! 5+ STARS and I would give it more if I could!

Rough (Wolf Ranch #1) by Renee Rose & Vanessa Vale start with the introduction of Boyd Wolf. He is a cowboy through and through. He is the reigning Bull Riding Champion. When he sees the shapley Dr. his wolf sees her as his mate. Distracted by her he is gorged by the bull he was riding. As per her job Dr. Audrey attends to his wounds. Imagine her surprise when he walks out of the hospital a little while after being admitted. A nice introduction to the series. Boyd and Audrey are cute and their sex is a little kinky. The question is how will this work with her being human and him being a wolf. Really interested as to where the authors are taking this series. 3.5 stars for me.
