How in the world would I see the twists coming, if the author didnโt?

I also love that most of Monica James books start off with a warning. The kind of warning that she says.

Now this is my kind of book and Alek has earned his Devilโs Crown!
I do recommend that you start off with All the Pretty Things Trilogy since this is a spin-off from that series! You can read The Devilโs Crown Series on itโs own but if you want to know who everyone is or even what Alek was like before this series I highly recommend starting with the Trilogy first.
Aleksei Popov isnโt a nice man. He is dark, violent and dangerous, not someone you want to mess with. He is sexy and powerful! He does just enough endearing things to make you fall in love with him.
I love Monica James books and I read all that I can by her! She really knows how to write a book that not only pulls you in. Her books grab you and yank you in and wonโt let you go until you have read every last word!!! โญโญโญโญโญโญโญโญโญโญ+ STARS
