Then I Met You ( Love in Everton # 6) by Fabiola Francisco is the story of Gavin. 5 years ago his world was turned upside down when the love of his life walked out on him and their 6 month old baby girl. Now a single father all he does is live for his precious daughter Penny.  She is a 5 year old spitfire who has her father wrapped around her finger. With the help of family and friends Gavin is doing his very best. When Sutton becomes a part of their group he starts having feelings he hasn’t felt in years. Sutton in a rising country star who just so happens to be a close friends with his cousin/ sister. Sutton has a thing for Gavin but she knows something has happened to him that keeps him closed off. She especially likes his spitfire daughter and Penny likes her as well. This is their story of toying around with feelings they both have but one is scared to love again  and the other is hoping to get a chance with the rugged good looking single father. Initially I didn’t know this was a series. That didn’t stop me from reading this book and knowing what was going on. Each book is a standalone and centers around this group and each of their journey to finding love. Enjoyed the journey of Gavin and Sutton finding love. Of course I always enjoy a precocious child who says and does things that put a smile on my face. And Penny definitely has her own sense of fashion. The other characters were interesting and I would like to read the previous books so I can see their own personal journey to their happily ever after.  A cute story with a happy ending once Gavin got over his hesitation to trying love again and Sutton’s rise to fame and its many pitfalls.  4 stars for me.
