Dark Ruler is the first book is the first book in The Bennett Duet and is the first book that I have read by this author. This is Benicio Antonio Bennett and Chantel Brooks story. I am a sucker for Mafia Romance.
This was a slow start for me to warm up to the story. I am glad I stuck with it because it got so much better. Things heat up between Benicio and Chantal.ย Benicio is a strong dominant & controlling man. Chantal shows sass but she also shows a submissive side in the bedroom. Again just my kind of book. Now I need to read book #2. Hopefully the wait wonโt be too long.
