Happily Letter After by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. Another hit!! A laugh riot! Sadie gets an unexpected holiday letter from a little girl in June. Sadie does a holiday article for her paper during November and December. Shocked by the letter she develops a connection to Birdie. What started out as Sadie trying to bring a smile to a little girl who lost her mother to cancer and is worried about her single dad to taking a trip to crazyville. I love this two author’s story. Of course I laughed throughout this book. There was a part I felt like I had to close my eyes. You know something terrible is coming so you look through your finger because you are scared or nervous. Well that was me at one part. I made it. Loved the characters and the journey they went on. Another emotional rollercoaster ride. The ending took me by surpise. Just say I was torn in two. In one respect I loved it and than on the other hand I want to strangle the authors. Just a really good story with a fresh and funny premise that was quite serious at times. Did leave with one question. Did the wife know. Mmmm! Makes you wonder. 5 I wonder stars for me. The dynamic duo strikes again.

Happily Letter After is a wonderful standalone romance book. It is a feel good romance that the writing team Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have co-written. I love reading the books that they write together (and BTW also as their books are great when they have written them as a single author too). There is laughter, romance and action to go along with their stories. There are also heartbreaking and sweet moments when they can bring on my tears. Because I did cry. There was a moment while I sat reading that I kept telling myself I am not going to cry but I failed because there was no way I wasn’t going to!
My emotions were all over the place while reading Happily Letter After. I laughed, I cried happy tears and sad ones too. I LOVED reading this book! If you haven’t picked up one of these authors’ books before, what are you waiting for? You won’t be disappointed! 5+++ STARS
