Torn Apart (Torn and Bound Duet # 1) by K. Webster & Nikki Ash is a story of 3 guys who have a thing for one girl. The twist of the story is 1 is  gay guy and the other 2 are a little suspect. Ashton goes to college where his father is the dean. He likes terrorizing his father because his father isn’t to happy with him being gay. His solace is his best friend Mia. They love to eat junk food and play video games.  Mia has a thing for Ashton. She knows he is gay but has hope. One night out she meets a guy who she decides she is going give her v-card to, fortunately/unfortunately a call from Ashton saves her. When Ashton’s dad informs him he has to share his apartment with the new hockey coach he isn’t happy.  Unbeknownst to Mia he is the guy she almost hooked up with. Ashton finds the coach cute too. However one night of Ashton and Mia playing video games cross the line. Add to the mix, one of coach’s players is close to academic ineligibility. Ashton offers Mia as a tutor. The coach and the player have a past. Ashton has a thing for all three. Mia has a thing for all three and the guys have a thing for each other. This book was a great set up to the next book. It should be interesting how all this will play out between them. Regardless it will be hot and sexy as sin and I can’t wait to read every last juicy page of the debauchery. Looking forward to the secret regarding the coach and his past. There is also a guy messing with Ashton. What is their story? Not a big fan of male on male but when written like this I can’t wait till they all get together, than add Mia to the mix. Kaboom!!!!! 4.5 stars for me.

 

The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because it is a reverse Harlem book. I am not a fan of that genre. So with that said I was hooked into this book by the time I realized this. The web that Webster and Ash created was complicated yet enticing. I couldn’t stop reading. I thought Ashton was going to be my favorite character but he managed to ruin that. My heart breaks for him because now he’s questioning everything about himself. Mia is in a predicament that most women would love to have, to be desired by multiple man. Brayden has a past that he tried so hard to forget and when the person shows back up he realizes just how much he missed them. Andrew has a secret that he does not want to share. Coming back to his hometown proves to be more difficult than he expected. I really need book 2 because I must know how things play out. I most definitely recommend this book for other to read just be prepared for the cliffhanger.
