Deviant is part of the Black Mountain Academy written by multiple authors. They can all be read as standalones. For those that worry about this being a highschool romance. Arabella is 18 and is almost 19 years old.
Arabella Davenport has grown up in the public eye and is very rebellious. Her father is a senator and is running for office again. Arabella is being sent to Black Mountain Academy and to repeat her senior year. But it is better than going to jail after she was arrested.
Mr. Elian Donati is a history teacher and is new to Black Mountain Academy. He has a secret as to why he moved to BMA.
This is a sexy student/teacher taboo romance and I enjoyed their story.

Deviant : Black Mountain Academy by Dani Rene. Arabella has grown up in the public life. Her father is a senator and her mother is an uncaring narcissistic woman who only cares about herself. Rebellion has been something she did but all she ever wanted was to be loved. Now her father is dead and she has no choice but to be shipped off to her aunt and Black Mountain Academy. Arabella has decided to take this chance to get her life together. What she didn’t expect was to walk into History class and see her teacher Mr. Elian Donati.ย Elian is dark, brooding, built for sin and sexy to boot. He has never been interested in a student but there is something about Arabella. Not only is he a hot dish, his step brother Ahren is sexy too. The sexual tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. This was a story of not only forbidden attraction but lies, secrets and deceit. I liked the story unfortunately the way in which it was told didn’t sit well with me. I was in a state of confusion as to who all the players were until close to the end. Once all the players were known and secrets spilled, I found myself liking the story more. Arabella and Elian were most definitely hot, sexy and very kinky. 3.5 stars for me.

Arabella has a past that she doesnโt want to think about. After making one of the biggest mistakes of her life she is sent to Black Mountain Academy for her senior year. Hoping to not repeat her mistakes Arabella decides to do better. Elian is the history teacher at Black Mountain Academy. He is bent of getting revenge on the person responsible for his fatherโs death. Little did he know that Arabella would put a wrench in his plans. With both having secrets from their past will they be able to overcome or will the past tear them apart?
This is your typical teacher/student taboo relationship. They both want something they shouldnโt have. The only difference with this book is that Arabella is over the age of eighteen. In the beginning I was confused on who is Him and Her. There were some good twists in the book. All in all this was an okay book to me. It took a couple of trys to start but once to got past the beginning I was able to finish it in one day. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy teacher/student books.
