Unshackle is the 7th book in the Deliver series and it’s an OMG read, not for the faint of heart! I had forgotten how I felt at the ending of Manipulate that I had to take time and decide on how I felt about the book. Well I felt a little like that with Unshackle too.

This is Luke Sanch’s and Vera Gomez’s story. Unshackle had me biting my nails and all sorts of nervous things while reading. There is violence and dark themes to this story. I felt like I was reading with one eye open and wary about what would happen next. There are so many twists and turns to the story and there were times when I wanted to put this book down but found I couldn’t because I needed to find out what was going to happen next. That’s what makes it a great book to read but only if you are prepared for a pretty dark book to read! 4.5 Stars for this one.

Now I can’t wait to read Dominate book #8 coming in January 2021.

Unshackle (Deliver #7 ) by Pam Godwin Up next for the Freedom Fighters are Luke and Tomas. It had been awhile since the last book which was good. I think each book can be read as a standalone since they focus on a different person. But each book is well worth the read and you get to know the real back story. Luke and Tomas is to go to LA Rocha compound to buy a slave and find Vera Gomez along with determining the location of the compound so the people they work for can dismantle La Rocha’s sex trafficking operation. Luke is the buyer and Tomas is the bodyguard. Luke is sex personified. He is a master with his hands, his tongue and his di$%. He can play a woman like a virtuoso and have her begging. He will need every tool he posses to get what he came for. Vera is who he is there for but a slave there who has to fight for her life catches his eye. The sex in this story is yummy and will get you hotter than hot. But how Luke plays his role as John Smith is the best part. As he tries to fulfill his mission he also wants to get to know the fighter slave better aka Gina. She makes him hot and bothered. As he gets further into the mission he has to figure out what to do about Vera and how he is going to get him, Tomas and Gina out safely. Really good story with plenty of twists and turns. 4.5 stars for me.
