Dominate (Deliver # 8) by Pam Godwin. It is time for Tomas’s story. At the end of book 7 we discover that since the age of 17 he has been sending emails to his dead girlfriend. The emails have been his way of purging himself of all the hurtful and harmful things that has been done to him and he has done to others. Tomas considered it harmless since no one was reading his inner most thoughts. Imagine his surprise after 10 years he gets a response. Rylee at her lowest point in her life and is ready to end it all gets an email that changes her life. Now 10 years later she decides to reach out the the author of the email. Meeting up with Tomas might not be the smartest thing she has done. She knows all he has done and just how dangerous he is.Tomas has always been quiet and has kept to himself. Yes he has the freedom fighters but they really don’t know the things he has shared in his emails. Now someone knows about them. He has to keep them safe. I only read this story because I had read the previous books. Wasn’t really concerned about Tomas and his story. Boy was I wrong!!! This was a really good story. Tomas is dark and twisted and so was this story. What Tomas didn’t bet on was falling for Rylee. I don’t want to give anything away regarding this book. All I can say is that this book was a great lead into the final book in the series. When I got to the end I was left with my mouth on the floor. Boy I didn’t see that coming! Kudos to you Pam! It is because of the ending I am giving this book a 5. Was confused on the tie in to get to book 9, regardless I am so over the moon. I know what I need to do till then.

Dominate is the 8th book in the Deliver series. Each book can be read as a standalone. But, it is best to read each of these books in order. See below for the order. It helps to keep me straight on all the stories and characters.

This is Rylee and Tomas Dine’s story. Rylee Sutton hit a low point in her life. Her husband had left her for another woman. You know the old story where she puts him through med school then found him having sex with another woman. Now she can either end her life or live with the pain or move on, stop feeling.

Now 10 years later who knew that this would lead her into an even darker point in her life. When she meets Tomas Dine.

This is another pretty dark story in this series. But then all the other book in this series have been pretty dark. So be prepared.

I love how authors incorporate the other characters from a series and then I get to follow up on them from the previous books in the series.

I read something at the end of this book that tickled me pink!!! There is a teaser at the end with Pam Godwin’s next book Complicate. I didn’t realize that the Deliver series Cole was the same Cole in The Tangled Lies series! Another must read if you love dark books.
