She’s the mate he never expected. And she has powers she never asked for…
Maya Brown is New York tough. She doesn’t believe in magic—until she’s kidnapped along with her eccentric godmother, Anna. By elves.
Freed by a strange power, and reeling from bizarre revelations about her heritage, Maya follows Anna’s plea to seek out a man named Soren at—of all things—a magical bar. Maya doesn’t believe in love at first sight, either, but when she encounters seven-plus feet of muscle and mood-changing eyes, her body does a full-on reset.
Nothing shakes up Soren Westerberg, Titanian Enforcer assigned to NYC. Until a beautiful human woman with golden skin and lost brown eyes walks into a bar. In one trembling instant he knows that she’s his mate—who promptly faints away in his arms.
Their bond is instant, gloriously intense, and a miracle. Soren’s life scroll never foretold a mate, but now that he has her, he’ll protect her at all costs. Because she’s not just his—she’s an extraordinary being coming into her power. And ready or not, that makes her a target of his cruelest enemy.
Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti

Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles I am glad that I chose to read Titanian’s Phoenix to read because I didn’t realize that I had read another book by this author and it refreshed my memory that I had wanted to read more by Victoria Saccenti.
When Maya Brown’s parents had died in a “freak accident” but was it freak or did someone kill them? Anna shows up on Maya’s doorstep claiming to be Maya’s godmother. Maya went to live with Anna in New York.
Maya just thought the stories that Anna used to tell her, were just that. Turns out the stories were real. Anna & Maya are kidnapped by an elf. Anna helps Maya escape and sends her to meet Soren and that he will protect her.
This is Maya Brown’s and Soren’s story. Soren is a Titan and is of the Titanian race and Maya is a human with powers she didn’t know she had. She finds out that she is Soren’s mate. Of course there is so much more to find out about Maya and Soren’s story.
I really enjoyed reading Titanian’s Phoenix and this made up world of Elves, Fae, Vampires, Titan’s and more. Now I am hoping that there will be more of this story to tell!
Author Bio:
Award-winning, multi-genre author Victoria Saccenti picked up pencil and paper the moment her childhood book heroes started conversing with her. Sounds a little crazy, but there’s no rhyme or reason for inspiration. Back then, she wrote one-act plays and short fairy tales for simple amusement. Today—many…many moons later—her playful stories have grown into romantic women’s fiction, paranormal, retro and contemporary romances with an edge. An avid people watcher, she explores in her novels the twists and turns of human interaction, the many facets of love, and all possible happy endings.
After thirty years of traveling she’s settled in Central Florida. She splits her busy schedule between family and her active muse at Essence Publishing. But if she could convince her husband to sell their home, she would pack up her computer and move to Scotland, a land she adores.
