The Crown Of Fools (Underestimated # 5) by Candice Wright. Kat has to go on. Alex was her everything. She has know him since they were in foster care together. Now left pregnant she has to find a way to pull herself together for their unborn child. After the deaths and destruction to Carnage they too are trying to rebuild and grieve their deaths. Conan has decided to reach out to Kat to help her through, Alex aka Pike was a special part of Carnage. What he didn’t expect was to fall for her. Old enough to be her father and the fact she is grieving he knows he has to tread lightly. On the other Inigo knows he too is to old for her but his approach is not as smooth. The journey they embarked on made for a really good story with ups and downs. Do not want to give to much away about the story but true to form regarding the others books do not underestimate Kat. These book are definitely about empowered strong women who can hold their own and get the job done when they put their mind to it. There are quite a few twist turns and surprises. I definitely didn’t see that coming. Looking forward to the next book because I can’t wait to read more about Kat and her men. If you haven’t read the previous books in the series please do plus Ricochet. You will not be disappointed. A really good story with good looking biker with some really hot sex. 4 stars for me.
