When Remy was eight years old his life changed. Scared and barely holding onto life Cyrus found him in the woods with his slayed family. Ten years later Remy is eighteen and ready to leave the pack. Not if Cyrus has anything to say about it. While tension are high between Remy and the pack innocent people are dying and Cyrus can’t seem to figure out who is behind the killing. All Cyrus knows is that Remy may be in danger and he will protect him no matter what. To make things more complicated on Remy’s eighteenth birthday something changed between the two of them that they did not expect. Will Cyrus be able to figure out who is doing the killing before Remy is hurt or will he fail to keep his promise?
To be honest I was hesitant about reading this book. I was not a fan the last PNR that I read from this author. This book I enjoyed much better. It was very suspenseful and kept my attention and wondering who is evading them so well. In the beginning I didn’t care for Remy because I felt that he was unappreciative but I also understood where he was coming from. I did enjoy the twist with Cyrus and Remy. I don’t want to say too much because I will give to much away. I hope this author continues to write more books like this one. I would gladly read more.
