Reparation of Sin (The Society Trilogy # 2) by Natasha Knight and A Zavarelli picks up with Ivy locked in a cellar cold, hungry and confused. She wants news about Santiago, if he is alive. What she gets is being brought before the tribunal. The evidence is damaging and it doesn’t look good for her. As she tries to hold on Santiago tries to deal with betrayal and his feelings for Ivy. Like Santiago Ivy has to deal with her feelings for him and the terrible treatment she is enduring at his hand. This was a story of who done it, who can you trust and what do we do with these feelings. I am so into this story. My heart goes out to Santiago and Ivy. There are more twist and turns to this story and it is keeping me guessing as to who is telling the truth and who is lying. I am so ready for book 3. This book ended with a cliffhanger that has me wanting more. I will just have to wait. All I know is I am in Ivy and Santiago’s corner and am hoping they will get their Happily ever after. 5 stars for me.

These books must be read in order and are not standalones.Ivy can’t prove that she didn’t try and poison him. Santiago is “complicated” and conflicted if you ask me. He wants Ivy but he feels she tried to kill him and for that she needs to be punished. But is the punishment truly worth it? Especially what his punishment is going to be. That was horrifying but it isn’t as bad as what the Society wants for Ivy and that would be death.

This book kept me on pins and needles while reading it, as to what was going to happen next. I knew when I started this book that there was another book and that this would probably end on a cliffhanger. Well that was an OMG NO IT DIDN’T JUST END LIKE THAT!!! kind of ending….. Resurrection of the Heart is next and it can’t get here soon enough…..

Bettina A’s Book Review: 4 Stars

These authors are trying to kill me.. I was hooked and couldn’t stop reading. Just when things couldn’t get worse it did. Santiago has so many issues it is not even funny. He really doesn’t know what he wants to do with his wife Ivy. When thinks he finally see her as the traitor he thinks she is something shows him that he’s wrong. Then he’s back to fighting within himself. Ivy Ivy Ivy, I don’t k ow if I should feel sorry for her or just throw her to the wolves. She wears her heart on her sleeve and always fall for her husband, even when he’s at his worst. At this point I don’t know who I am rooting for. It’s a constant back and forth with their emotions. All I know is that the next book will NOT end in a cliffhanger. Yay! For everyone who read the first book continue on with the Ivy and Santiago saga. The plot thickens, the person you thought was loyal just may not be as loyal as we thought..
