Memories of You: A Stark Security Novella by J Kenner . This is the story of Abby and Renly. Once childhood best friends, they reconnect after Abby discovers she has a stalker. Abby has always been a tech geek. Now she works for a premier company where the owner is married to a guy who owns a security firm. Renly is no longer in the Marines. A accident on assignment has left him no longer able to serve. With a new job at a security firm he is shocked when an assignment has him protecting his old bestfriend. They haven’t seen each other since high school. Once inseparable, circumstances called life had different plans for the two. A cute tale about past friendship, past feelings and reconnection, while Renly tries to keep Abby safe. Initially I didn’t connect with the story. Not sure exactly what my issue was with this story initially but as I continued the story my feelings definitely changed. I liked both Abby and Renly. Their journey to reconnection was cute and I was happy for them. The discovery of the stalker was entertaining as well. I really didn’t see that coming. An enjoyable quick read. I give this story 4 stars.ย
