Chained Hands is the first book in this Chained Hands Duet. Let me tell you that if you love dark romances then this is one for you to read! I hung onto every word. I am sleep deprived because of this book! It was so very very good! I am lamenting over the ending of this book! I did not want it to end! Another book that I kept looking at, how much further until the end. Not because I wanted it to end but because I didn’t want it to end!!!

Where is book 2, Locked Hearts? I need it now! T.L. Smith you write the best books! You know how to keep your readers on the edge of their seats! Loved it! Now hurry up and release Locked Hearts!

Lita’s Book Review: 4 Stars

Chained Hands (Chained Hands Duet #1) by T.L Smith. Sailor finds herself in a very precarious position. Her husband drags her to a sex club where she discovers her husband has sold her to Keir, a Mafia Kingpin. Hurt and confused Sailor finds herself trying to navigate the position she has been put into by husband. Totally blindsided she relies on the woman she use to be to survive her predicament. Keir finds Sailor pleasing and has all intention of killing her after a week. She is nothing but collateral for a debt. However the longer the time he spends with Sailor and her demeanor goes from compliant to feisty, Keir has a change of heart. The sexual attraction between them is apparent however Sailor is resistant considering how her and Keir got together. Keir has changed his mind totally regarding what he will do to Sailor and now wants more. I have always enjoyed this author and I was not disappointed. Loved the chemistry between Keir and Sailor.  Keir is definitely a special type of gangsters and I don’t know how to put into words just how special he is. I can say he is totally a different person around Sailor.  The cold hearted killer is gone and a sexy, dirty mouth lover emerges. I am so looking forward to the next book. Book 1 ended with a surprise that left with an “Oh My” moment. A 4 star read for me. 

Bettina’s Book Review: 4 Stars

Keir is cold hearted and ruthless. He would kill any and everyone that crossed his path the wrong way, that is until Sailor came along. This beautiful, quiet, compliant woman has somehow caught his attention, but there seems to be more to her than meets the eye. Sailor’s husband sold her to clear a debt that he couldn’t pay. Now she belongs to a man that’s ruthless yet stirs something in her. Can Keir and Sailor survive each other or will one fall victim to the other?

Well this book was unexpected. I really enjoyed it. I always wanted to know what was going to happen. I enjoyed the chemistry between Keir and Sailor. Especially the backbone she found after everything happened with her husband and Keir. I liked the little twists in the books. It kept things from getting boring. The ending is slightly a cliffhanger but not enough to make you go crazy waiting for the next book. I cannot wait for book 2 to come out. I wonder how Keir is going to react. Hmm… I am quickly becoming a big fan on T.L. Smith’s books.
