Tears of Salvation (Underworld Kings Series. St Monarch’s. Academy Series) by Michelle Heard. Isabella is the Princess of Terror. Her mother is the Sonia Terrero, theย Queen of Terror, she makes her money in human trafficking and drugs. Isabella is not close to her mother and despises the human trafficking part of her mother’s business. She despises it so much she lives a double life. To her mother and friends she is a disinterested socialite but her true self is sabotaging her mother by rescuing the human cargo. Crashing a masquerade party she end up locking eyes with Alexei Koslov, head of Bratva and the swore enemy of her mother. Isabella goes from locking eyes to a one night stand. Several months later while doing surveillance on The Queen of Terror, Alexei comes across a figure who he eventually discovers is not only his one night stand but the Princess of Terror. As their paths cross the attraction between the two is evident. Alexei is shocked regarding his feelings. Regardless he thinks he and Isabella should team up to take down her mother. When a rescue mission goes wrong Alexei comes up with a plan his right hand man thinks is crazy to say the least.ย This plan could backfire and have dire consequences. This was my first time reading this author. I like the way she told this story. Just stay tune.The chemistry between Isabella and Alexei was hot hot hot. A lust/ hate relationship that blossomed. A lot of action. I am excited to know there is a St. Monarch’s Academy Series which I plan on putting on my TBR list. Will be reading more stories from this author.ย 4 stars for me.

Each book in the Underworld Kings universe are standalone books and written by multiple authors. This may be an introduction into the author’s own series. I believe it is the town that is the connection to each of these books in the Underworld Kings series.
This is Isabella and Alexeiโs story. Isabella crashes a party that Alexei is attending. They end up together for a night to remember, a one night stand never to meet again. Alexei is the head of the Bratva and is Isabellaโs family enemy.
Isabellaโs mother is a bad woman, the Queen of Terror. The family makes its living with human trafficking and Isabella is expected to follow in her motherโs footsteps. Isabella lives a double life. One as a socialite and learning the job of human trafficking and two as the rescuer of the ones that have been caught as a victim in human trafficking.
I very much enjoyed the story between Isabella and Alexei. They certainly had chemistry together and I look forward to more books within the Underworld Kings and will be on the lookout for more books written by this author.
