Tease Me Once (Shame on You book 1) by W Winters is the story of Braelynn a young lady who is trying to get her life together. She has just moved into her new apartment and is starting a new job. What she thinks is a waitress job at a high end club end up being a waitress job at a sex club where she can be part of the menu.ย Luckily for her the owner is someone from her pass. Declan and his brother have risen from poverty to the position of mob bosses. At his club he notices someone from his past and she stirs something in him. As they embark on a kinky relationship, Declan has to deal with a rat within his organization.ย Unbeknownst to Braelynn her friend who got her this job is a suspect. You know that old saying about association. You lay down with dogs you get up with fleas. At this point Declan has to decide what is true and what isn’t while Braelynn deals with this lifestyle she is leading with Declan. She is struggling with her feelings for him while being totally oblivious to the dangers surrounding her. This story was a nice set up to the next book. I like Declan and Braelynn and there is some definite chemistry between the two. However I am on the fence as to whether I will read book 2. The ending of this book puts me on the side of I want to know where this is going. But I just wasn’t left with I really care because of how Declan and Braelynn’s relationship evolved so quickly. I will probably finish the series.ย I usually do. 3 stars for me.
Meet Willow
I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful career.
