The Underworld Kings series has been written by various authors that each book is tied together by a location. These books do not need to be read in any particular order. This series has allowed me to read authors that I have read and new to me authors.

Kingdom Come is a standalone within The Underworld Series that has been written by multiple authors. These books do not need to be read in any particular order. This series has allowed me to read new to me, authors as well as authors that I have read their books before.

Thank you Aleatha Romig for giving an HEA at the end of this book and sticking to making it a standalone within a series of your own too. I know you said that you love your cliffhangers.

I love, love, love Kingdom Come! Aleatha Romig kept my interest from beginning to “The End”.

This is Greyson Ingalls and Cecilia Abernathy’s story. Greyson keeps reinventing himself; it’s a wonder he knows who he is. There are so many twists and turns to this story! Just when I thought I knew what direction the story was going it went in completely the opposite way!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Kingdom Come and I can’t wait for the next book in Aleatha Romig’s arsenal.

Kingdom Come (Underworld Kings Series) by Aleatha Romig. First I love this author and was excited that she was part of this collection of books. Greyson is trying to get back on top after being ran out of New Orleans. When I saw his name and where he was from it took me to another book by this author, The Devil Duet which if you haven’t read please do. It is good. Back to this story. Greyson is given an opportunity to find Cecilia the granddaughter of hotel magnet/ Underworld boss. She has been kidnapped and is up for auction on the dark web. The person who hired him isn’t her family and he wants Cecilia for himself. As Greyson tries to find her, he is also trying to find out who the players are in this game. He is also leery of the guy who hired him. Once he finds her, Greyson isn’t sure who to return her to. This book is long but well worth the read. Greyson is trying to put the pieces together while fighting his feelings for Cecilia. As Cecilia tries to come to terms with what happened to her while being abducted, she also has to come to terms with who orchestrated it as well. Along the way she starts to develop feelings for Greyson. As they get to know each other Cecilia is able to breakdown and discover the real Grayson. This is definitely a matter of discover who is who, what role do they play and who can he trust. A rather lengthy story but well worth the read so give yourself enough time to enjoy the journey. 4 stars for me.
