Suffer in Silence: A Dark Mafia Romance ( Malvagio Mafia Duet Book 1) by Kelsey Clayton. This was my first time reading this author and boy oh boy. I am so looking forward to book 2. I was almost finished with this story before I realized it. Saxon ends up getting kidnapped by Kage. He is the Dom of the Familia. He has known Saxon due to her grandfather who handles the property for the Familia.ย When the grandfather dies unexpectedly and the property went to Saxon’s father, the kidnapping plan was a last resort. Kage has had an eye on Saxon for quite sometime but she was off limits. When he ends up crossing the line their relationship is as volatile as it gets. It was like a 5 alarm fire. The story was good and interesting. Kage trying to get what is his from Saxon’s father didn’t go as planned. Quite the cat and mouse.. Kept my attention from the beginning and the ending blew my mind. The sex was definitely hot and steamy. I am so excited for the next book and I am even more excited I will not have to wait long. When I get some free time I will be reading more books by this author. This was a 4.5 star read for me.

Suffer in Silence is the first book that I have read by this author and is the first book in a Mafia world romance. This is Kage Malvagio and Saxon Forbes story.
Oh dear god the cliffhanger in this one! Where is book 2? I need it NOW!
Maybe I shouldnโt start with the ending of this book! But it hit a resonance that I canโt stop thinking about.
Kelsey Clayton is a new to me author whom I will be reading more of her books! Of course starting with book 2. The next book will be out in a few weeks so at least the wait isnโt too long.
Saxon first sees Kage at the club where she is celebrating her birthday. But Kage has known about her for a long time.
Donโt get on the bad side of Kage. He is a killer. Fortunately for Saxon he canโt seem to get her out of his system.
I really enjoyed this book. It is dark so it may have some triggers for some. I am repeating this but the cliffhanger is a doozy!
