Until myย real dateย arrived.
Turned out, Max wasnโt who I was there to meet. He only pretended to be until myย real dateย showed up.
To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
Before he left, he slipped me a ticket toย a hockey gameย a few blocksย away, in case thingsย didnโtย work outย onย myย actualย date.
I tossed the ticket into my purse and went about trying to enjoy the man I wasย supposed to meet.
But my real blind date and I had no connection.
So on my way home, I decided to take a chance andย stop by the game.
When I arrived, the seat next to me was empty.
Disappointed again,ย Iย decided to leave at the end of the period.
Justย before the buzzer,ย one of theย teamsย scored,ย and the entire arena went crazy.
Aย playerโs faceย flashed up on theย Jumbotron.ย He was wearing a helmet, but I froze when he smiled.
You guessed it:ย Dimples.
Apparently,ย my fake blind date hadnโt invited me toย watchย hockey with him, heโd invited me toย watch himย play.
And so began my adventure with Max Yearwood.
Heย was everything I needed at the timeโfun, sexy, up for anything,ย and only around for a few months sinceย heโd signed withย a new teamย three-thousandย miles away.
Maxย proposed we spend the summerย helping me forget my ex.ย It sounded like a good plan. Things couldnโt get too serious when we had an expiration date.ย Right?
Though,ย you know what they say about theย best-laid plans.

The Summer Proposal by Vi Keeland When a good looking guys approaches Georgia, she doesn’t think it is her blind date but he is so charming she plays along with him. When he leaves he gives her a ticket to Madison Square Garden. After her blind date she ends up using the ticket where she discovers who her blind date crasher really is. He is no other than Max Yearwood aka Pretty boy and star player on the hockey team. Eventhough they enjoy each others company Georgia is reluctant where as Max is crazy about her. So Comes up with the idea to just have a summer fling. When Georgia decides to take Max up on his proposal, neither one of them expected what they started would become something more. Once again this author has done it again, another story that had me from the beginning to the end. Max and Georgia were quite the pair. Loved Max, he was everything a woman would want. Definitely a women’s dream man and Georgia was falling for Max. Loved their story of their summer fling. Just a really good entertaining story. Of course I was laughing while reading this story and was left with a smile on my face. Another 5 star read for me.

The Summer Proposal is Max Yearwood and Georgia Delaneyโs story.
Georgia was waiting for her blind date when Max had seen her at the bar and went into the bar to talk to her. He tried to pass as her blind date when of course her blind date showed up.
The blind date was a bomb and Georgia decided to go to the Hockey game that Max had left a ticket at the bar for her, hoping that she will show up to the game. Guess what? She did.
Georgia has her own business, Eternity Roses. Max is a hockey player and he is off for the summer. Max proposes they date for the summer and at the end of the summer he is moving to join a new Hockey Team. I am in love with Max! What is there not to love? He is sexy, He is thoughtful, He is fun, Heโs a pretty boy!
You could see the sparks already beginning to fly between Max and Georgia when she thought he was her blind date!
A very enjoyable book to read! Vi Keeland really knows how to grab her readers from the start and all the way to The End!
