The Man from Sanctum is the third book in the Masters & Mercenaries: Reloaded series. Lexi Blake has gone back and reworked her Masters & Mercenaries Series. This is Deke Murphy and Maddie Hallโs story and this is their second chance. Deke and Maddie were boyfriend/girlfriend in High School and Deke unselfishly broke up with Maddie because she was going places he wasnโt going to be able to go to and he didnโt want to hold her back.
Now 17 years laterโฆ Maddie needs Dekeโs help in solving a mystery and in proving that they were not meant to be together. They get banged up along the way to falling in love again. Theirs is a hot and smoldering romance. She says that she knows all about BDSM but does she? Maddie is a workaholic and has a very hard time letting go. This is a sexy story so you know things come together!
The original Masters & Mercenaries series is a pretty long and very well established series so it is great to be able to start at the beginning of the reloaded series! I am loving the new beginnings!!!! This was a 5 STAR read.
Lexi Blake is good at keeping things interesting, fresh and up to date. She weaves in the BDSM theme and adds some twists and turns that I didnโt see coming. Another great story! I canโt wait for the next book, No Time to Lie. It canโt come soon enough!
