Devil’s Redemption (Devil’s Pawn Duet #2) Natasha Knight picks up where book 1 left off. Isabelle is devastated and angry that her husband switched her birth control pills and she is pregnant at 19. She is also concerned that after the baby is born she will be killed and her baby taken from her.  Same issues plague her and she is still struggling with her feelings for her husband plus who should she believe, her husband or her cousin. Jericho is also struggling with his feelings for his wife and his need for revenge. Revenge was always the plan but the more time he spends with her the more his feelings for her change. His constant waffling between revenge and love definitely gave me whiplash. To further add to Jericho’s plate he is trying to find out what his brother is hiding and why his sister would kill herself especially since she didn’t leave any clues. The cat and mouse of it all kept this reader interested. The bread crumbs the author kept dropping had me chopping at the bit and the conclusion had a few twist that enhanced the story even more. A fabulous conclusion to this story. Really looking forward to more books about The Society.  I also like catching up with the characters from the other books. Wonder whose story is next. 4.5 stars for me.

 

This is the conclusion of Jericho and Isabella’s story. It picks up right where book 1 ends. While I still feel like it was still very similar to Ivy’s and Santiago’s story it was different in it’s own way. I did enjoy the twists that were thrown in. I few I saw coming but this is to be expected. In this book I felt like Jericho finally grew up yet Isabella was naïve until almost the end. I am happy that they got their HEA in the end. I really enjoyed this duet series. I would definitely recommend it to others to read.
