The steam has taken over every corner of the shower, but through the fog, I see the emotion in his face. I feel how much it costs him to open his heart to me. Itโs staggering.

Lust is the second book in the A Sinful Empire Trilogy and IS NOT a Standalone. This is the second book in Daniela and Antonioโs story. Lust picks up where Greed left off.
Thanks for the recap. There is a big warning about triggers, so read them and if you decide to read this book be careful. Oh and you must read Greed first.
Since this is the second book and we know there is a third book get ready for the cliffhanger. Even though I knew there would be one it still didnโt help, I was left with an oh noโฆ.. Type of ending.
Daniela tells Antonio what she endured as a child. Antonio is after revenge for the things that happened to Daniela and what ensues is action, romance and the perfect amount of sitting on the edge of my seat! I canโt wait for Book 3!!!!

Lust (A Sinful Empire #2) by Eva Charles. This story picks up where book 1 left off with the discovery of Daniela is the actual mother. Antonio is ready to blow a fuse when he finally believes it and than for Daniela to have been 12 years old in order to be the mother. Daniela’s story of that day had me reeling. I wanted to kill some people. Daniela is frantic to make sure her daughter is safe while Antonio is ready to kill up everyone. This story was so good. In the midst of making sure her daughter is safe and Antonio plotting his revenge, Daniela and Antonio discover a love for each other. Times get tough and things between them get rough. This was a good middle book. It cleared up somethings while bringing other things to a head. The cat and mouse Antonio has been playing with the unknown player in the game comes to a head. I can say I definitely didn’t see that coming.ย A blow your mind conclusion.ย So looking forward to how all this will turn out and if Daniela and Antonio will get their Happily ever after.ย 4.5 star read for me.
