Someone Else’s Shadow is a standalone. It is Peyton Lane and Cayden Coachman’s story. I didn’t know what to expect with this new book by one of my favorite authors. Lately she has been exploring different genres.
Peyton has lost her memory after she has an accident. She is trying to find out what happened because she feels there is some underlying happening.
It seems Cayden knows something but what? Peyton feels she is not being told the truth. Was she a nice person?
Monica James had me holding my breath and hanging on to every word! She really knows how to draw you in! She puts in a few curve balls and some twists to keep the book interesting. That is why I love reading her books!
I think I am so used to reading a series that I was kind of surprised that there was a HEA! This is truly a standalone! 5 STARS!
