Gage: A Pittsburgh Titans Novel Sawyer Bennett Release Date: July 5, 2022
Veteran player Gage Heyward retired from the league following a successful career. Now the Titans need him, but does he have what it takes to get back on the ice and pull this team together? After achieving the goals I set for myself, I walked away from my professional hockey career. It was a tough decision, but the right one at the time. When the Titans organization approached me about joining the team they were rebuilding following a devastating plane crash, I felt a passion for the game and a competitive spirit I hadn’t felt in years. The opportunity to make a huge difference to a lot of people spoke to me, and I accepted thei r offer and headed to Pittsburgh without a second thought. Jenna Holland is also new to town, having moved from Phoenix to Pittsburgh to take a job with the Titans. Her past has left her with scars — both physical and emotional — and she’s slow to trust other s. But the more I learn about Jenna, the more I want to know. The more I need to know. Because the beautiful blonde with honey gold eyes and a wall around her heart has me enamored. My game on the ice is the best it’s ever been, but it’s my game off the i ce I’m focused on these days. Because while Jenna may not be willing to take a chance, I know the potential is there for something big. Something life changing. Now I just need to convince her to take the shot.

Gage is the third book in the Pittsburgh Titans Series and is Jenna Holland and Gage Heyward’s story. If you have read any of Sawyer Bennett’s books you will know that Jenna came from the Arizona Vengeance Series. She is now working for the Pittsburgh Titans and Gage, an experienced Hockey Player, is there to help rebuild the team.
Jenna is so scarred not only from burns to her body but her heart is scarred too. Gage loves Jenna but she is so scarred and so scared.
I love Gage! He sees Jenna. Not how Jenna sees Jenna! The scars don’t matter to him.
Sawyer Bennett draws you into the story and makes the reader feel the emotions of her characters. I am eagerly looking forward to her next book. For now 5+ STARS!
Lita’s Book Review: 5 STARS
Gage: A Pittsburgh Titans Novel by Sawyer Bennett is the next book in this series. While Gage was helping Baden move a friend into her new apartment from Phoenix Gage meets Jenna who was in the Vengeance series. If you haven’t read it you need to. It was real good. Not a bad story in the bunch. Baden is also in that series. Jenna has issues due to a fire she was in that left her with not only physical scars but emotional ones as well. Gage is smitten with her and his attraction is misinterpreted by Jenna. She thinks he is looking at her scars not her eyes. Gage let’s Jenna know what his intentions are. This is their story of Gage trying to convince Jenna of his feelings and her dealing with her emotional scars. Once again a very good book that I enjoyed from the beginning to the end. It is not about the sex but the journey of falling in love. Of course we are treated to the saga of all the characters from the previous books and their goings on. We also see Gage reaching out to Coen who is steadily spiraling out of control. This was a great set up to the next book which I can’t wait to read. I love this author’s books and can’t get enough of her stories. Another goal for me. 5 stars
