Lita’s Book Review: 5 STARS
Reckless Hands (Joey and Adora Duet#1 series, Chained Hearts Duet #5) by T.L.Smith. Joey and Adora have not seen each other since they were children. She and Joey know that they are to be married. It has been arranged since they were kids. Eventhough they knew it was their destiny neither is excited about the prospect. Joey can’t see why he has to go along with this arrangement since his brother Keir was able to get out of his arranged marriage. But he will go through with it out of family obligation. However there are several issues his intended has, not only has she developed feelings for someone else, her past has made her jaded along with abandonment she has all intention to make Joey’s life hell. I really enjoy reading this author. This story was the best in the series as far as I am concerned. The story was left on a cliffhanger that made my head explode and made me want the next book right now. I can’t wait for the conclusion to Joey and Adora’s story. I couldn’t get enough of this story and finished it it before I realized it. In the other books Joey never made an impression on me. Now I am in love with him, Joey is not only good looking but knows his way around a woman’s body. He is so much more than I expected. Adora is definitely a firecracker who has a lot of demons. It is those demons that has made her into the person she is. My heart went out to her. As her demons were revealed, it explained why she is so hard. I have to say Lucas was absolutely hilarious in this story. He had me in stitches especially considering the person he was in his books: Sinful Hands and Shackled Hearts. If you haven’t read the previous 4 books please do so. The previous books are not necessary to this story per se. The previous stories are real good and you get to know the other characters story. In the end Joey is left with a difficult decision. The question what will he do. I guess we will have to wait for the conclusion to Joey and Adora’s story to find out. This was more than a 5 star read. Loved it. 
Reckless Hands by T.L. Smith Tanya’s rating: 5 of 5 stars I have been highly anticipating reading Reckless Hands. Which is the first book in this duet, Joey and Adoraโs story. This is all a part of the Chained Hearts Series and there are 2 other stories that have already been told. Keir and Sailorโs Duet #1 and #2 and Lucas and Chanelโs Duet #1 and #2. Each of these duets can be read as standalones within the series. But donโt you want to know who all the people are that play a big part in this new duet with Joey and Adora? I know I would! Joey is Keirโs brother and whereas Keir got to marry for love Joey is supposed to marry Adora and that has been set up a very long time ago. Neither of them can break the contract. Adora does her best to get out of it and what a story that was told! Reckless Hands is a dark romance, arranged marriage, mafia romance! And this book met every expectation I had! But do remember that it is a dark romance and may have some triggers for those that have them. For me it was a 5+ STAR read! I loved it and am now looking forward to Arranged Marriage, Book 2 of Joey and Adoraโs story. Especially since Reckless Hands ended on a cliffie! I have to see what happens next!
