โIโm here now,โ he murmurs against my lips. โIโve found you, and you belong with me.โ
He keeps kissing me even though heโs still holding that flower, and I am terrified of ruining it, of destroying the only thing thatโs kept him going for all these years.
But I donโt want him to stop kissing me either.
His kisses are like oxygen. I need them to survive.
But he still pulls away, even when I struggle desperately to hold his mouth with mine.
Suddenly, he swoops me up into his arms, and I shriek from the surprise. โWhat are you doing?โ
โGiving you what you deserve โฆโ he replies, and it makes me feel tingly in all the right places.
When was it that I began to feel so much for a beast like him?
Was it before or after he first touched me? Kissed me? Made sure I knew I was his?
Days and nights blurred into one in that dark, damp cell, and my body adjusted, but my mind โฆ my mind is still playing catch-up.
He carries me into the bedroom and heads straight for the bath, where he puts me down and starts tearing off my clothes. Shirt first, then my pants, as well as my socks and shoes. Not that they were mine, to begin with, but still โฆ it makes me self-conscious because Iโm naked once again.
I protect myself with my arms, despite knowing my hands are visible to him. But he doesnโt seem to be paying even the slightest attention to them as he throws my clothes in a corner and turns on the faucet.
The warm running water feels like bliss compared to the lukewarm shower we had back in the cell. But it feels wrong to be the only one to enjoy these simple things.
โYou deserve a shower too,โ I mutter, not knowing what else to say.
He plants a single finger on my lips and opens the faucet even further until the water starts gushing out. โMy woman always comes first.โ
His woman?
Why does that make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside?
I huddle into the warm blanket of the water, trying to hide my blush beneath the bubbles he poured in. It all smells so lovely, and itโs a nice way to rinse off the nastiness from being in that mansion.
There was only ever one highlight, and it was always when he came to my rescue.
When he spread his arms and shielded me from their evil.
And Iโm so grateful for everything heโs done for me, for us โฆ fighting his way through the pain to get us to safety โฆ that I feel like he deserves this more than I do.

Beauty is the second book and a continuation and conclusion of Beauty and Beastโs story. It was so good to get an HEA because while reading this I kept thinking there is no way Beast and Aurora can come out of this with a good ending! But Clarissa Wild did write the ending that I wanted and needed!
I loved Beast and Auroraโs heartbreaking story and their love making was so very raw and primal. Another very good story by this author!!! I enjoyed it until the end! 4.5 Stars

Beauty(Beauty and Beast #2) by Clarissa Wild is the conclusion to Beast and Aurora’s story. Aurora is running for her life. She is scared that Beast might be dead and at the same time she is ambivalent on how she feels about her dad. On one hand she is hurt by the things her father said about his true feelings towards her and her love for him. Once reunited with him she sees all she needs to see and finally makes a decision. She needs to know what happened to Beast. I was really looking forward to the conclusion of their story and I was glad I didn’t have to wait long. Aurora’s sheltered life which we now know is a result of her deformity caused her to have a naive look on life, that was aggravating for me. Some of the decisions she made made me want to ring her neck. However her feelings for Beast was unquestioned to the point she would put herself back in danger. And Beast, well he was a beast and his feelings for Aurora gave him a strength that was down right scary. However Beast past was a story that bought tears to my eyes. What Beast endured broke my heart. I was just hoping they received their happily ever after. It was touch and go and help was in the unlikely of places. Strange conclusion. But in the end I was left with a smile on my face. Beast holds a special place for me. Wonder what will become of him? 4 stars for me
