Coen (Pittsburgh Titans, #4)Coen by Sawyer Bennett
Tanya’s rating: 5 of 5 stars

Coen is the 4th book in the Pittsburgh Titans Series. This is a spinoff from the Arizona Vengeance Series. Each of these books can be read as standalones. Each of these men on the Pittsburgh Titans were affected by the death of the original team in an airplane crash.

This is Coen Highsmith and Tillie Marshallโ€™s story. Coen found himself becoming angrier and angrier at the fact that he had survived his team. He was fortunate that he had been left at home because he was sick and unable to play with his team. He was the lucky one not having been on the plane that crashed. But he has a very bad case of survivor’s guilt. He is ready to quit the team once he was put on suspension for an act of aggression.

He meets Tillie after he buys Stoneโ€™s place, in the woods. Tillie buys land that borders the land that Coen had just bought. It is a wonder that the two got together because Coen was a real jerk. I can think of other words to describe how Coen acted but Amazon would not publish my review. So I will stick with JERK.

I think Coen was the hardest to fall in love with on this team. But, I eventually did fall for him.

I love this book and series. So far all the books in this series have been 5 STARS and yes this book is 5 STARS too! I love reading about these men and their team. I have never been a sports fan but Sawyer Bennett makes me want to be! Up next is Drakeโ€™s turn and as per usual it wonโ€™t be out soon enough!

Lita’s Book Review: 4.5 Star

Coen (Pittsburgh Titans #4) by Sawyer Bennett. I have been anticipating this book since book 1. Coen has been fighting his demons since the team perished in the plane crash. He was on a road to self destruction. Now living at the cabin, he seems to have found some peace. However out in a run he runs into a young lady who just so happens to be his neighbor. Tillie has found the perfect place to live and set up her art studio. Everything was perfect till she was getting trees removed for a driveway and her neighbor comes out screaming and hollering about what is she doing. He is not happy and went so far to get an injunction against Tillie to stop the driveway. The tension between the two of them is enough to cut it with a knife. Butting heads is not the only thing Coen and Tillie are doing. When he comes to her rescue they settle in on a love/hate relationship with a couple of booty calls included. The back and forth between Tillie and Coen was so entertaining. This was a good story and truly explained what Coen was going through. Tillie was so cute and the perfect match for Coen. I could have read more regarding these two. Not sure who is next in this book series but I am definitely there for it. This was a 4.5 read for me.
