Broken Queen (Ruined Kingdom Duet #2) by Natasha Knight This story picks up where the first book left off. Vittoria is suffering at the hands of the treacherous guards when the brothers finally get to her. This is still a game of cat and mouse. The brothers are fighting their feelings for Vittoria while trying to discover her secrets along with battling their uncle and her brother. Vittoria is too fighting her own battle. She has feelings for the brothers but doesn’t know where she stands with them. All she knows is that she just wants her little sister to be safe and thrive. Vittoria doesn’t know who to trust. She knows her brother has always mistreated her but after the reading of the will she is more confused than ever. Who should she trust. Who should she believe. There was so much going on in this story, so many lies, betrayal and secrets. I loved it. Vittoria was like a timex watch. She kept taking a beating but kept right on ticking and in the end the brothers found not what they thought they wanted but found what they needed. So glad I didn’t have to wait long for the conclusion of this story. Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down till I finished it. 4.5 stars for me.
