A Long Time Coming is the 3rd book in the Cane Brothers Series. This is Breaker Cane and Ophelia โLiaโ Fairweather-Fernโs story. You can read each of the books in this series as standalones. But I highly recommend starting with book one.
They met when Lia went to join the SSS for Secret Scrabble Society and Breaker was the person running the SSS. Lia and Breaker became BFFโs from that night forward.
Things started changing between Breaker and Lia when Lia became engaged to someone else.
I absolutely loved this book! While I didnโt laugh quite as much while reading this book as the first book. It was still a great story! Of course, Meghan Quinn is the queen of texting scenes. The laugh out loud kind of scenes. And this is a cute romantic sexy story.
Now all three men have had their story told. I am not sure if there will be more, but the potential is there. I would love to hear Birdieโs story and there are some friends that would make great stories too!
The other books in this series are:
A Not So Meet Cute is the first book and is Huxley Cane and Lottieโs Story.
So Not Meant To Be is JP Cane and Kelsey Gardenerโs story and is the second book.
I was also fortunate enough to be able to listen to the audio for A Long Time Coming. The narrators, Erin Mallon and JF Harding did a fantastic job. I have said before that the narrators can make or break an audio book. Well, I am happy to say that I loved listening to this duo. Erin and JF certainly kept me interested in listening to the story. Not that the story itself didnโt keep me engaged. I think that these narrators are assets for this audiobook.
It was wonderful to look into the lives of these Cane brothers and their loves. This was a 5 STAR read!
