The Brutal Strike: Codename: Ophis by Candice Wright. For some reason, I had no clue this book’s main characters were Luna’s twin brothers Zig and Oz. Reading The Underestimated series is not a requirement to read this book. However, the whole series is fire. As for me, every book in the series was a 5 star read plus all the other books this author has written. Zig decides to take a job to save this young lady who has been kidnapped. He knows something just doesn’t seem right about this job. However, looking into Salem’s eyes seals the deal for him. What started out as a rescue mission turned into so much more. This story was so much more than I expected, and what I thought when I read the synopsis doesn’t begin to describe this story. The author has thrown in a twist to this story that was totally unexpected and took me by surprise. I don’t want to give away too much about this story. Enjoy the journey. The ups and downs. The twists and turns. Zig and Oz are something else, and getting to know them was quite the treat. Identical in good looks and a fabulous build, but two different personalities. Yes, another 5 stars for me. I am curious as to what the next story from this author will be.

Candice Wright is off to a great start! I love The Brutal Strike: Code Name Ophis is the first book in a Apex Tactical series. Apparently this is a spin off from Queen of Carnage. You can tell I didnโt read those books yet. YETโฆ Itโs just a matter of time.
This is Oz and Zigโs, twin brothers, and Salem Harrisโ story. Their story is an intriguing twist and a sexy romance to boot!
I love it when a book that I am reading makes me feel and this one had me very tearful at times.
I am so looking forward to Jagger, Slade and Astridโs story. next and I know I have said this before, but I canโt WAIT! 5 all the feels’ STARS here.
