Isn’t it funny how some synopses keep you from buying books and others draw you to a book. I read the warning and immediately knew I had to read this book. This is a very dark book and not for the faint of heart! I read 1 person’s review of how dark this book is, as it clearly states it in the warning. That person gave the book a 1 star review because of how dark the book was. Why read a book if you don’t like dark books especially with a warning like the one for this book?
I don’t like telling you about the story in my review because if you read the synopsis it tells you what the book is about. I do like telling you whether I loved a story or not and this is a story that I loved. Marissa is great at drawing you in and describing what is happening to her characters. I was sucked into this book! Oh and I loved the Germans in this story. I can’t wait to read more of Marissa’s books.
DO HEED The WARNING: if you don’t like DARK don’t read this book! There is a long narrative with the warning for this book and this is the lightest of her books! Now to the waiting game. Waiting for her next book in this series to come out.
