Serial,Volume One by Lily White and Jaden Wilkes Serial is the story of Jude, a guy who is born into privilege, head of his father’s business and has a deadly hobby. Jude is a serial killer. He likes to hunt women. This is his way of sexual gratification. As Jude engages in a sexual act he can only obtain his ultimate climax as he snuffs the live out of his victim. On one night out with the fellows he comes across a waitress at the Waffle House who has caught his eye. This young lady is different than the others: he wants to bring this young lady to his home as his Pet. As he becomes more obsessed with the waitress, his thirst for killing escalates. This is the first installment in Jude’s story. As Jude is trying to get his Pet in his home while the FBI is trying to solve the murders. Jude had the time and the means to get what he wants. The head of the FBI task force and the behaviorist working the case also have a less than vanilla relationship.
Serial has two stories in one. Both stories are very interesting and kinky. The book ends with Jude taking his killing to the next level. Will Jude get caught? Will Pet want to stay with Jude? Will the agents solve this crime or will their relationship cause problems.
I am looking forward to the next installment in this story. 4 stars or “O’s” for this blog review. Warning: Serial maybe too dark for some people. Jude is a little sick and twisted. I enjoyed the story.
