Meet Nikki K
I’m a 43 year old, married chick with no children. Although my furry babies and hubby tend to make up for the lack of human kids. I was raised by a single mom and the TV as a babysitter. Until FSOG (yep I said it) I watched TV pretty much all the time. Before FSOG, I only read sporadically, then I was introduced to “the gateway book” and I am now addicted to Mommy porn. After reading FSOG, I found Olivia Cunning, Cherrie Lynn, Red Phoenix and Nicole Edwards.
After reading Leave Me Breathless by Cherrie Lynn, I became obsessed with tattoos and at the ripe old age of 41 I got my first ink (a spider on my right foot). I also asked my husband after that book if he ever considered piercings, alas the answer was a resounding NO! Red Phoenix and her Brie Series gave me more insight into the world of BDSM and sexual play. Nicole Edwards and Olivia Cunning introduced me to poly story lines and I became hooked.
Through the Nicole Nation (a fan group for Nicole Edwards) I have made oodles of friends (including the 4 ladies I now call sisters and blogmates). Never would I have imagined that through reading, I would meet some of the most spectacular women and forge life long friendships, but I feel that is precisely what I have done. Being involved in author fan groups has also given me the opportunity to meet new and exciting author, three of who I now proudly call my friends.
While my greatest dream is to be an author of fantastic stories like the ones i enjoy reading, now my writing is more geared towards poetry than story telling. My poetry can be found on my FB page ‘The Muse Poet’ and my blogs. My love is not only of books, it is really a love of words and how they fit together. It excites me to see the way the turn of a phrase can cause a reaction in people.
Knowing me and my love of words and writing, Tanya approached me and asked if I’d like to join her and the other ladies in this New blog she was starting. I figured, sure why not, it will be fun. Who knew I would enjoy it as much as I do? TaSTy WordGasms has become a big part of my life and I am so thankful to Tanya for giving me the opportunity to work with her and these other great ladies to bring you our views on the written word.
Now it is Tanya’s turn and I have my own set of Nikki Notes!
As Nikki said in her notes on me we met through the powers of Facebook! In fact, since she mentioned it in her bio we met on Nicole Edwards fan page and we were instant FB friends. So I have to thank Nicole for bringing us together and the other girls on this blog Nikki, Tricia, Lita & Shannon. These girls are all my gal pals! But, Nikki is the one that we had our date nights set up together with. When I knew I was going to FL last year for my vacation I contacted her and another friend and they all drove to the Condo that we (hubby & I) were renting for the weekend. She had to drive almost 4 hours to get to the Condo to see me I was so excited that they (Nikki & hubby) were willing to do that. I was so excited that I actually got to meet Nikki in person. We had a wonderful day/night together and yes a LOT of alcohol was involved! I got to see her again this earlier this month (BTW I have blackmail pics Nikki) Yes, more alcohol was involved and I also got to meet Shannon.
When I first asked Nikki if she would go into the adventure of blogging with me she first told me that she would try it but, it would be on more of a part time basis and would help some but, she wasn’t sure how much she could help. Well I am happy to say that she is my glue! Thank god she changed her mind because she is computer/blog savvy because she has helped me so much with behind the scene things as well as blogging! Thank you so much for joining me in the adventure Nikki! ❤
