Meet Tricia Rd

I am the northern most member of the Tasty Wordgasms team. Living in Northern Alberta, Canada where there is 6-7 months of snow. I love to read but keep busy exploring the outdoors (hiking, mountain climbing, kayaking, snowshoeing, & cross-country skiing). I really enjoy capturing my adventures with the lens of her camera.

Nikki’s Notes on Tricia

Just like Tanya, I met Tricia through the book group we all belonged too. She was always the “quiet” one. When you least expected it, Tricia would come in with the best one liners. She’d have you rolling on the floor with the crazy comment she’d throw our way. From the get go, I knew I liked this girl! Then as time went I saw the adventurous side of Tricia and she became my hero. I have teased and joked about this over the year, but I tell you, I wish I were as fearless and brave as she. Recently, Tricia has been showcasing her photography (since J got her the killer gold camera) and I became totally enamored of her talent. The beauty Tricia captures through her lens is more than my own eyes have ever seen. Always quick with encouragement for others and generous of spirit, Tricia is one of my favorite people to inhabit the planet. One day I will brave the icefloat and get up to meet my hero, Trica Rd!
