Blogger Bio
Meet Tanya Rae, founder of TaSTy WordGasms and all around terrific lady!
Here’s Tanya’s story!
I am a mother of 3 grown children. No grandchildren as of now. I have been married for 37 years to the love of my life. Yes, I was a baby when we got married. I have been a nurse for 25 years and I am presently working in Postpartum and the Nursery, a previous NICU nurse. I was born and raised in Florida, now living in California and trying to decide where I want to live when I retire because those days are getting closer. Thank goodness!
I have of course read books for years but, eventually stopped reading as much until a friend from work told me I really needed to read….. Wait for it…. Fifty Shades of Grey! Yes I too started reading again after reading FSOG and then I started reading everything I could get my hands on in that Genre and of course that expanded into reading almost anything again. In fact I now read so much that I stopped watching the television. Which I stopped watching TV over a year ago now.
I started TaSTy Wordgasms with some of my friends that I had met while fangirling an author we all love. We have all been friends for a couple of years on Facebook. I am so happy and I love these girls that decided to help me with our blog TaSTy Wordgasms.
I really love leaving reviews for the books that I read. That is partially why I decided to start a blog and as they say the rest is history!
Nikki’s Notes on Tanya
We met about 2 years ago and i instantly fell in love with her. She is a truly special person. When we first met through a book group on FB, we would have “date night” as we called it. Shes on the West Coast, and I’m on the East, and I never sleep. So we’d get together and have late night chats. From there a great friendship was born. Last year right after Christmas, Tanya and her husband were coming to Florida to visit family and she invited my husband and I (along with another couple we were friends with) to join them at her rental on the beach. I believe her son thought she was crazy and told her we would eat her face like zombies if she came, but she ignored him and came anyway. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot of the building there was Tanya, arms outstretched awaiting my arrival. The connection was instant, I felt I had known this woman my entire life and was thrilled to finally meet her in person. We stayed up most of the night talking and laughing like school girls (there was alcohol involved) and just having a great time. A couple of weeks ago, Tanya came to Florida again, and we were able to once again meet at the beach, only this time Shannon was able to join us. I’ve got to say I do not think I have ever met a more warm and welcoming person than Tanya Rae. I have dubbed her my Westie Bestie Supreme (WBS for short) as I truly feel she is one of my dearest friends.
