OMG The Duncan Peters Files the story hit so many emotional chords. There are tear jerking and heartbreaking moments for sure. I usually avoid books that make me cry but, wow I loved this book and it meant that I was fully invested. I couldn’t put the book down and finished reading it in one long setting. The Duncan Peters Files is listed to have about 592 pages. Samantha Fontein even gives you a playlist at the front of the book. (I love playlists that’s how I find a lot of my music)

I don’t give you a synopsis of the story because I feel the author does that already I like to tell you of my feelings about the books that I read. This story takes place from 1991 to 2014 over a 23 year period. And, I loved that because we got to see the lives of the people in this story. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Oh did I say that the sex in this book is HOT!

Dragonflies- The Duncan Peters Files is the first book in the Dragonfly trilogy and is the story of Duncan Peters life and his friendship with his mate Rubin. This is a story filled with love, betrayal, friendship and death. Two guys who are living life to the fullest. Having met in University and forging a friendship that stands the test of time.

I laughed, smiled, frowned and even cried. The story was an emotional rollercoaster with many highs and lows. The life lived by Duncan was a life that many people can relate to and have experienced.

By the end of the book I can say I was emotionally exhausted but was truly looking forward to the next book. I give this book 3 ½ O’s

The Rizzo Protocol (Book 2 in Dragonflies Trilogy)

Okay I just finished the 2nd book in the Dragonflies Trilogy ! And, I love the ending of the book it is so worth reading. I knew that Duncan was trying to get Rizzo (AKA Kazza by her mother) & Fergel (AKA Sparky) together, but what a roller coaster ride it was and I feel I may have a set of blue balls (well whatever it is called for a woman). Dragonflies – The Rizzo Protocol is HOT, Steamy, Romantic, Fiery and sometimes sappy. Samantha Fontien you had my stomach in knots with this book again!

This was also a continuation of Duncan Peters story with Simone (and let me say I was in tears again) I was so worried and it turned into good news! There is an HEA at the end of this book for both couples. And, it is good to know there will be a conclusion to Duncan Peters story in the final installment of the Dragonflies Trilogy in Cousins – The Next Generation and you can bet I will be reading it!

Dragonflies- The Rizzo Protocol is the second in the trilogy and picks up where the first book left off. Rizzo was introduced in the first book when Duncan and Rubin discovered she was the one behind the problems an old SAS buddy was having. Rizzo is a computer genius and with the help and tutelage of Duncan she is now an executive.

This is her story as she tries to help out Duncan. She steps up to run the company while Duncan tries to get his personal life in order. I truly enjoyed Rizzo. She is a true character who is funny, crazy smart and a very fun person.

Another emotional roller coaster and like the first book spans many years. I was very pleased with this story and was really excited to read the next book.

OMG Samantha Fontien you had me crying again. I think I have cried in each of the Dragonflies Trilogy series books. They haven’t all been sad tears but, lord knows a lot of my tears were. You really brought out a lot of emotions in this story!

As per my usual I don’t provide you the reader with my synopsis of the books that I read because I feel the author does a great job at that. But, I do give you my feelings about the book and this is one trilogy that I would definitely recommend!

I have loved this series & the latest book is Cousins The Next Generation! The Dragonflies Trilogy spans over 3 generations. Duncan goes from a young man to 76 years old in the Dragonflies Trilogy. Cousins The Next Generation is about the sons, daughters, brothers, sister & cousins story. Duncan still plays a main character intertwined with his family.

I absolutely LOVED “Cousins The Next Generation” and I look forward to reading more from this Author!

I have to thank Samantha Fontien for allowing me to read this series. I loved this ARC was received for an honest review!

Dragonflies- Cousins The Next Generation is the last book in the trilogy. This is the story of the children Duncan now has to care for and bring into adulthood. Duncan has been through quite a bit in his many years. Duncan like most people just want to be happy, as well as he wants the people in his life to be happy.

This story was the culmination of everything he has worked for but the journey was not easy. By the time I was finished this book I had such a smile on my face. Yes there were more ups and downs and the emotional roller coaster was still in effect. The journey the story took me on was one I enjoyed to the utmost. I can say the ending of this book was one of the best endings I had ever read. Outstanding ending!
