| I read that this was a Dark book and I wouldn’t exactly describe it as dark at least not dark as in nonconsensual sex, violence, abuse etc. Stepbrother/Stepsister love is a taboo subject or at least a lot of people make it out to be taboo. They aren’t related, no blood relationship involved so this doesn’t bother me and make me think taboo. Although it obviously does to some people.I enjoyed Monster Stepbrother and can imagine how one could care for there stepbrother or stepsister.Oliver is the bitter stepbrother now that his mother has up and married Maya’s father. There is a love/hate relationship with both Maya and Oliver (Stepsister/Stepbrother). Most of the time Maya wants Oliver and teases him sexually a lot in the earlier years.They both have their own problems. Maya is a cutter and she accidentally cuts too deep and ends up in the hospital and Oliver is her rescuer and her blackmailer after she becomes of age. And, their story continues from there. You will have to read Monster Stepbrother if you want to know more. :)Monster Stepbrother is a standalone book with an HEA! I hope you all enjoy this book.
