As children the term “and they lived happily ever after” signaled the end of the story and was supposed to give us closure. As adults we are left to wonder how big a mess the giant made when he took a nose dive off the bean stalk. Did Cinderella still find the Prince Charming during football season? And what happened when Sleeping Beauty was completely awake? Ann Rice writing under her pen name A. N. Roquelaure takes a very adult look at this last question in The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty. The journey that Beauty takes is both entertaining and educational for anyone interested in the bondage and discipline lifestyle. The story line keeps you hanging on wondering what is going to happen to the heroine next. The only time you will put it down is when the sex scenes get too hot. If you enjoyed 50 shades because of the BDSM this book will become a new favorite. From spankings, restraints and toys to a very in depth look at Dom/sub relationships this book explores fetishes in a very enjoyable manner. This series showed me that great erotic literature actually does exist. I score it a 4.5
