Title: Love Survives
Author: Jennifer Foor
Reviewer: Lita Thomas
Stars: 4.5 OOOOo’s (O’s for Orgasms)
Imagine being in love with the same girl since you were ten years old, only to have her fall for your twin instead. This story is rocky.
It will rip you apart and possibly put you back together again.
I know this because it’s my story.
The pain and anguish experienced in this is what it was like to hold onto hope that some day we’d find each other again. I won’t sugar coat the details of what I went through to have her, nor will I apologize for any actions that led me right back into her life.
Sometimes love isn’t enough.
Sometimes it takes a little fate.
Lita’s Review:
Love Survives is the second book in the Love’s Suicide series by Jennifer Foor. Initially when I was decided to read this book I had no ideal it was the second book in a series. After reading the synopsis of the first book I decided to read the book regardless to the fact I had not read the first book.
Book 2 is told through the eyes of Brooks. He has a twin brother name Branch and they are both in love with the same girl. Katy Michaels has been the neighbor of the Valentine twins as long as she can remember and the three of them were like the 3 musketeers. But like most groups as the kids got older jealousy and feelings tore this group apart.
Book one was told by Katy and book 2 allows the reader to see Brook’s side of the love triangle. I can say I was pleasantly surprised by this story. My heart broke for Brooks. He was a guy who wouldn’t let a love he has had for Katy die even though she had picked his brother. Follows Brook’s journey and get sucked into his pain and life.
The author really know how to tell a story extremely well and at some point I to read book 1 so I may know why Katy made the choices she did. I give this story 4 ½ O’s even though at certain parts of the book I wanted to strangle Brooks.
This ARC was received for an honest review.
