Shannon’s Review:  4.0 OOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)
This is the story of Pierre, a French chef and Holly, who is hired as the maitre d’ at the restaurant he works at.  He is quite the “monster” towards anyone that even thinks to look his way.  However, Holly will not let him bully her.  The tension, albeit mostly sexual, just pours off each of them.  Both of these characters have experienced tragedies in their lives, and neither one is sure if they are willing to let someone else in.  Once you open yourself up to another, you are taking the risk of either extreme hurt or immense pleasure.  Will Pierre and Holly take the risk on each other?Monster Chef is a delicious dish served up by Margaret McHeyzer.  It has all the right flavors leaving you with your mouth watering and begging for the next bite.  I would give this book 4 stars.*I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Tanya Rae’s Review:  5.0 OOOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)
OMG I loved Monster Chef! I loved Pierre and Holly and this is a love story! Pierre wasn’t truly a monster just a man that was so hurt by the loss of his wife. So he was like a bear with a thorn in his paw! Holly aka (mon chéri)really knows how to handle Pierre and quickly puts him in his place. I don’t think there will ever be a dull moment between the two of them.Oh and Monster Chef is also very HOT! Talk about passion between Pierre & Holly…. oh my oh my! I loved the phone sex…..I loved the ending of Monster Chef! I can’t tell you because I don’t do spoilers so you will just have to read Monster Chef! Oh and Margaret McHeyzer does that mean there will be more?

This ARC was received for an honest review and I loved Monster Chef I hope you will too!

Lita’s Review: 4.5 OOOOo’s (O’s for Orgasms)

Monster Chef by Margaret McHeyzer is Holly and Pierre’s story. Two people who have experienced death but are handling it in very different ways. Holly lost her husband recently and has decided to go back to work. She goes to a restaurant to get a job but ends up with more than she got hired for. The restaurant is nice and she is excited to get back into the work force after being a stay at home mom.

What she didn’t expect was the head chef Pierre. His wife died a few years ago and he is hurt and broken. He is also making everyone in the restaurant miserable right along with himself. Holly is not having it and is not intimidated by Pierre and his verbal wrath. Pierre is curious how this women dare talk to him like that; doesn’t she know who he is. Holly sees Pierre as a spoiled child and knows how to put him in his place. Somewhere along the way their interaction goes from combatants to something else. They are not quite friends but they are not enemies either.

What started out as an abusive chef, belittling everyone in his path to a person who is going through a metamorphosis Pierre is now developing feeling for Holly he has not experienced since his wife.

Their story is sweet but intense.  I really enjoyed Pierre and Holly’s interaction. A really good story.

I received this ARC for an honest review.

**Bound by custom or unique by choice.**There’s something about the written word that’s pure magic.Possibly it’s the fact that there are 26 letters in the English alphabet, and they can create something so beautiful or so empowering that they’re able to change our lives. How important is it that we break suit and stretch our minds?  I like to think of myself as ‘unique’. My stories aren’t for everyone, andsometimes I may push what you believe to be ‘normal’.Normal is subjective.I prefer to be known as a person who’s never been ‘bound by custom’ but is’unique by choice’.       Until next time
