Still determined to get the story to shoot her journalism career into high gear, Zoe is beginning to see how people will be affected by her exposing the club and its dirty secrets. Sticking with her plan, she continues her investigation and stumbles upon a couple of items in Dax’s office.
Dax trusts Kate (Zoe) even less, but he can’t seem to stay away from her. He’s obviously attracted to her, but he’s also intrigued by her. So he goes with the plan to keep her close to him, so he can find out exactly what she’s up to.
Meanwhile, Dax receives another anonymous note, and is no closer to knowing who sent it. He has an unexpected visit from someone in his past. Someone he hadn’t wanted to see, but who seems to have a plan to get his hooks in Dax once again.
Zoe finds herself at a crossroads when Dax finds out something about her and her secrets. The story is definitely picking up and I’m very excited to see where it goes.
This is the second book in the Exposé series. I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars.

Zoe Warren wants to be a successful journalist, but she can’t get a job because she doesn’t have experience. She can’t get any experience without getting a job. Zoe is set to get into Dax Ryan’s exclusive, members-only club to get the scoop of a lifetime and kick her journalism career into high gear. Her strategy is to get a job working at the club, dig into and expose the many secrets its patrons pay lots of money to keep quiet. What she doesn’t expect is to be attracted to the club’s very alpha owner. Dax is a ladies’ walking wet dream, and he sees something in Zoe, but he’s not quite sure what that something is.This was a very short read, but in keeping with her previous books, it isn’t short on heat. I loved this start to what promises to be another great series from Roxy Sloane. She has mastered the art of packing a great, hot story in short increments.I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4.5 O’s.
