Synopsis
Ayda Hanagan’s life took a whole new road to hell when she agreed to lay down beside Babylon’s very own devil in disguise, Drew Tucker. With an evolving love and the world she once knew now gone forever, Ayda’s toes were no longer dancing on the edge of the flames. She’d jumped straight into the fire, dragging her younger brother, Tate, along for the ride. No matter which way they both turned, Harleys and leather were their new reality, and they had to get used to the fact that acts of war and bad blood were never far away.
All that seemed so easy for Ayda to push aside when she was resting in the arms of the man she never expected to love, but when lust, need and sex became as important to her as the air she breathed, it was only going to be a matter of time before reality decided to slap her around the face harder than ever before.
Lost in the screwed-up perfection of their new fairytale, Drew and Ayda thought they could handle anything life threw at them. For every cop, whore or enemy that tried to tear them apart, they found strength in each other and a new weapon to fight back with. Only not all assassins wore their patches on their chest, and before they could even see the eyes of the wolves in the shadows waiting to bring them to their knees, they were all out of places to run.
With everything they’d ever believed in suddenly at risk, fear was no longer an option and Drew and Ayda soon found themselves in the middle of a war that looked impossible to get out of alive. In order to survive, they had to learn how to fight together.
Without restriction.
Without thought.
Without mercy.
Even if that meant sacrificing everything they’d worked for, including each other.

Tanya Rae’s Review: 4.0 stars
I enjoyed reading Without Mercy even though it was a little slow at first but, it built momentum and finished great! No need for me to reiterate the synopsis of Without Mercy. I did say in my review for Without Consequences there was a war a brewing and it happened. And, Drew d*mn near got himself killed. What a journey for Drew and Ayda & Tate (Ayda’s brother). Drew became a much better person by the end of the book. And, “as one door closes, another one opens” is so true.
I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more from Victoria L. James and LJ Stock. I don’t know how 2 authors can write one story but, they do it well. I give Without Mercy 4 stars. I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.

Nikki K’s 4 Star Review:
Three words can change the world!
This second installment of The Babylon series brings us more insight into the lives of Ayda Hanagan and Drew Tucker. Circumstances lead the couple to a place where they find themselves fighting for love. Ayda fighting to save Drew from himself, while Drew fights to save Ayda from the MC life. The result is more powerful than anything either would imagine.
As in Without Consequences, this book is more about the people and thier struggles to find happiness and peace in their world. Once you catch up with the couple find put where their heads are at all hell breaks loose and they are forced to dig deep for their very survival. Find out what drives them to succeed.
Without Mercy is a good story, full of heavy emotion, a few tears and a deep story. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next chapter in the world of the Hounds of Babylon. I’m really looking forward to seeing where life takes Tate, Ayda’s younger brother.
I give Without Mercy a 4 star rating.

Lita Thomas’s Review: 3.5 stars
Without Mercy by Victoria James and L.J. Stock is the second book in the Babylon series. The story picks up with a little snippet of a scene of violence that the Hounds take place in as retribution for the bombing. Drew now has to deal with the fallout of his actions, he has to deal with keeping everyone safe, a gang of wannabees teens, strange bikers in town and his relationship with Ayda. Ayda has to deal with her insecurities of being Drew’s woman, her place in the club and her 15 year old brother Tate. She has had to care for him since her parents were killed and now with them living in the hut Ayda worries her brother is being exposed to a life that can lead him down a path Ayda is not prepared to deal with. The story has so many different things going on that sometimes I got lost in what was really going on with the direction of the story. This installment was not as good as the first book. I still loved Drew and Ayda. Once the story began to tie all the loose ends together I was quite shocked at the turn of events. It was nice to see Drew change from who he started out to be to the man he evolved into by the end of the book. I give this story 3.5 stars.
