	I love that this author lives in the San Francisco area and that Forsaken MC live in Ft. Bragg. I myself live near San Francisco and know the area that this book takes place in and love that part of California. And, while I don’t know if any of the places are real that takes place in the book it is still cool to know that area. Now on with my review of Bayonet Scars boxed set by J. C. Emery Book 1 Ride When Alex finds herself in trouble with the Mob her aunt helps get her away from them to the Forsaken MC. I enjoyed this story of Alex & Ryan. Ryan really fought his attraction to Alex. Ryan was a real a to Alex while fighting his attraction to her. Book 2 Thrash The second story is about Nic & Duke and this story coincides right along with the first book with Alex & Ryan. Nic has definitely had a hard life and is a tough girl. She is now the bread winner because her adopted dad (a member of the Forsaken MC) is in jail and her mother ran off. And, now she is having to raise her teenage brother whom is a real handful. Duke decides he is going to make her his old lady but, she really fights against it. Duke can also be an A (seems like all the guys from the Forsaken MC can be) I love their story and it all works out in the end. Oh and I love the ending of the book. But, I can’t tell you why because I don’t do spoilers and hopefully you will read this and see what I mean. Now on to book 3 and I am very happy that these books are together in a boxed set. I just get to keep moving on with my reading! Book 3 Rev Holly Mercer & Sterling Grady’s but don’t call him Sterling. And book 3 is their story (Cheyenne’s is Grady’s daughter) Holly & Grady didn’t exactly get started on the right foot. Grady was a hard man to love but, he turns out to be a really great man. Some bad things really happen to Holly and Grady does his best to protect her. Another HEA and I loved this book. Now on to book 4 Crush. Book 4 Crush This has to be my favorite book so far. I love that Cheyenne “Chey” Grady gets her own story with Jeremy! So funny because Chey talks about her dad Grady and Holly (his girlfriend) have christened the entire house like a couple of teenagers and when she was grounded “That means staying in the house with the horny twosome” This book has an HEA and I can’t say more about it! I am loving this series! Novella 4.5 Vow: This book was written for the readers that insisted Ryan wasn’t romantic enough. I am not sure I realized that Ryan was romantic enough. I think I was thinking that this is a MC book and members of an MC aren’t always the most romantic people. And, it was nice to tie up loose ends and see that Ryan does love Alex. I have loved this complete series and I enjoyed reading about the men of Forsaken and about their women. I give the overall series 4.5 stars. Although I would give book 4 Crush 5 stars.

Book 1 Ride
