With Master Isaac and Kathy Owners of club Nexus

Q. Issac, tell us a little bit about your life as an unmarried Dom. After my divorce, I focused my free time on building Nexus. Once the club was open, I mostly trained subs. I took a couple subs for short periods of time, but found my head nor was my heart in it.

Q. How did you discover your true nature as a Dom? I always had a desire to smack an ass, but when I first joined the Navy, my Squad leader took me to a club that turned out to be a local BDSM club. He said he wanted to show me a different lifestyle and thought I might be interested. It was a revelation in my life.

Q. As a Dom, you show great sexual self-restraint allowing your partner to receive pleasure while witholding your own. Is this a difficult practice? You have no idea. Lots of training, but nobody’s perfect. Some days my restraint is better than other days. Katherine tests my resolve daily

Q. How is married life, do you miss being able to choose your partner from night to night? After my divorce, I thought I’d never get married again. Then I met Peaches and I don’t want to live a day in my life without her. I love being married. When you have the best, you don’t need the rest

Q. What is your favorite implement/toy to use on Kathy? My hand. I love feeling the heat on her skin after I redden her ass

Q. Do you think you and Kathy will always live the lifestyle? No doubt

Q. How is your relationship with Kathy ‘ s sons? I think Ben and Matt are great kids. They had a great mom raise them. Not having kids of my own, I really didn’t know what to expect. They’re adults, so we don’t have the father-child relationship, but we’re close. The first time Matt asked me for advise, I have to admit – it made me feel good. Now, we talk a couple times a week

Q. Has your construction business suffered from public knowledge of your involvement in the lifestyle? There’s really no connection. I mean, I don’t fly my Dom flag on top of a construction site. If there’s been any backlash, I’m not aware of it

Q. Kathy, has embracing your submissive side and living the lifestyle affected you in ways other than sexually? Believe it or not, it’s given me more confidence in my personal and professional life. I’m actually more assertive in business negotiations and sharing ideas.

Q. How do you feel when you receive a punishment? Depends… mostly disappointment in myself. Though if I’m honest, sometimes I get pissed.

Q. What is your least favorite punishment? Journal writing. BLAH….

Q. What is your favorite implement or toy to use on a scene? Flogger and Isaac’s bare hands.

Q. What is the hardest part about your living the lifestyle? Keeping it private from my “vanilla” friends. It hurts my heart that there’s such a negative stigma put on something so beautiful.

Q.  Have you and Isaac discussed/explained your D/s relationship with your sons? The boys were at my collaring, much to my surprise. Isaac had arranged it so they would be there for his proposal. The discussion was brief. They told me they just wanted me to be happy, they didn’t need the details. LOL…

Q. If so, how are they dealing with it? They live on their own, so they are now around our day to day life. It’s a pretty normal life. There’s really not much discussion, at least not with me.

Q. How do you feel about Debra living in a ménage? I’ve known Deb for a long, long time and she’s the happiest I’ve ever seen her. So how can you not be thrilled at her happiness

Q. How is Debra dealing with her relationship being open in the public? Has she been treated poorly because of it?  Luckily, she’s worked at the same place for a long time and they’ve been very accepting of her new relationship. The only distress she’s received has been from her ex, but I think Pat & Derek handled that situation rather well. Just sayin’….

Q. Would you ever want to bring another person into your relationship?  We don’t share.

Q. Isaac and Kathy, what do you think about Master Leo taking on Gina as a sub? I think Leo has been great for Gina. She needed someone to center her. I also think Gina has softened Leo’s edges. Just a bit.  I’m happy he’s getting a piece regularly. He’s less of a dick on the job,

Q. Issac, since you, Derek, Patrick and Leo are now in committed relationships is it affecting the club in an adverse way? I wouldn’t say adverse, but it’s limited trainers for subs. Something I’m working on as we speak.

Q. Kathy, would you be comfortable allowing Isaac to train a new sub if there was no sex involved?  He continues to oversee sub training, however it’s been mostly hands off. If he sees a Dom struggling with a technique, he’ll demonstrate on their sub, but that’s the extent of it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with Isaac training specific subs, no.

Q. Finally, this question is for both of you, where do you see yourselves in 5 years? I see Peaches strapped to the cross, trembling with need for my cock.

Oh YES!!!  I loved that view, Sir. Maybe I’ll have a grandbaby to rock by then, too.
