I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. Altered States by Ella Dominquez is a book that is a departure from what I have previously read by the author. This book is an erotic psychological thriller that had this reader guessing the entire story. A story so well written that what you thought was happening was nothing like what you end up finding out once the true story unfolds. There were so many twist and turns that every time I thought I knew what was going on something else happened. I had not read the synopsis prior to reading the book and I am glad that I hadn’t. The beginning of the books set the scene. Someone is at the police station being questioned by the police. The story is than told how the person arrived at the police station. I do not want to give away too much of the story but all you need to know is stay sharp, pay attention and do not assume anything. Once the true story unfolds the story between the players things do not end like you would think so be prepared. Just when you think things cannot get stranger hold on to your hats. By the end of the book I was worked up into a true state of crazy with a goofy smile on my face. I give this story 5 O’s.

About the Author:

A full-time mom, wife and healthcare worker, Ella was born and raised in a sexually repressed, strict Christian household in the bible belt of the USA. This upbringing and repression contributed to her wicked imagination and writing has been her only outlet for her sexual fantasies. Finally at the sexually mature age of forty, she mustered up enough courage to share her naughty thoughts and put pen to paper. She sincerely hopes to find her niche in writing erotica in all forms, be it romance or paranormal.
