I was given an ARC for an honest review. Unblocked by Marni Mann is the 4th installment in the relationship of Frankie and Derek. The story picks up with were the last book left off with Derek being harassed by Reed and Frankie is trying to deal with life without Derek. Derek knows he will do whatever necessary to have Frankie and he will fight Reed for her. Frankie has finally found someone who she really wants to be with. As the two try to work out a way to be together a person from Derek’s past is set on to keep them apart while trying to find out what he has on Randy. This is the second to the last installment in this 5 series story. I did not know what the author had in mind to set up the last book but what she did was more than I could have expected. Each book ends better and better with an ending making you want more. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us when bringing this story to an end. Will there be a happily ever after or will the lies, deception and tricky keep them apart. We will have to wait for the last book to see how this all end. Unblocked once again gets 5 stars from me.

Episode Four Excerpt:
“Tonight is about us, no one else, and that’s the way I want it to stay. No more interruptions,” Derek said.
I took a deep breath and reached for my wine. I wasn’t going to let my brain jump to conclusions. This weekend was about us. Not Taylor. Not Reed. “I agree.”
He leaned into the table, his hand moving higher up my leg. “Kiss me.”
We weren’t in a back booth, and this restaurant wasn’t nearly as private as The Hole. There were more servers, a more open floor plan, many other tables close by. What he was asking for was much more than the peck I had given him before I’d gone to the bathroom. “Those fingers,” I said, placing my hand on top of them, “aren’t planning on going any higher, are they?”
He licked his bottom lip, teasing me with just the swipe of his tongue and the whiskers that surrounded it. “They weren’t, no. But now that I know it’s on your mind, I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop them.”
